Is there an age limit?
Climbers must be 7 or older for the intro session. Under 18s need a guardian to sign the waiver in person on the first visit. Drop-in with a parent is welcome from age 5 in supervised areas.
Walking into a climbing gym for the first time is its own small psychological hurdle. The wall looks taller than you expected, you don't know the etiquette, and you don't know if you're supposed to wear shoes from home. Here's everything you need to know before you arrive.
Allow about ninety minutes total for the first visit — sixty on the wall, thirty for paperwork, intro, and the gear handover.
Pick a slot for the Intro to Climb session, fill in the waiver online (saves time at the desk), and pay the $50 intro fee. We'll send you a confirmation and a pre-visit checklist.
Show up ten minutes before your slot. Check in at the front desk, get fitted for shoes and a harness, and meet your coach. Lockers and changing rooms are right by the entrance.
Sixty minutes with the coach: safety, footwork, your first routes. After the session you can stay and use the day pass for as long as the gym is open.
Climbing doesn't need much — comfortable clothes you can move in, and a water bottle. We supply the rest.
Intro sessions run on weekday evenings (17:30 & 19:00) and weekend mornings (10:30 & 12:00). Capped at six climbers per coach.
Everything else, just ask at the desk or call ahead. We'd rather you arrive certain than confused.

No. Climbing scales naturally — V0 routes are designed for first-timers. If you can climb a ladder, you can do an intro session. The wall meets you at your level.
Yes. The bouldering area requires no partner, and our auto belays let you top-rope solo on fifteen routes. You only need a partner for traditional belay climbing.
Then start with bouldering — top-out walls are around four metres, and the entire floor is padded crash mats. Most fear-of-heights climbers progress to top-rope within a few sessions.
Five-minute phone calls answer most pre-visit anxieties faster than this whole page does. Real human at the desk during open hours.
